The eight-episode series It: Welcome to Derry is scheduled to premiere Sunday, October 26, bringing fans back into Stephen King’s terrifying universe. Serving as a prequel to Andy Muschietti’s two-part blockbuster adaptation of Stephen King’s 1986 novel, the series traces the origins of Pennywise, the clown that has haunted Derry for generations.

Set in 1962, decades before the events of It, the show rolls back the timeline and dives into the beginning of the terror that possesses the town. Bill Skarsgard returns for his chilling role as Pennywise, coming back to continue to torment the children of Derry. The series plans to introduce many new characters, residents who find themselves surrounded by the creeping presence of horror in their town.The storyline follows the children of Derry, investigating their mysterious disappearances and trying to uncover the truth behind them. It: Welcome to Derry promises a suspenseful journey that reveals why some nightmares never truly end.
