The movie “Regretting You,” based on the 2019 novel by Colleen Hoover is a deeply emotional and entrancing film that explores the twists and turns of mother-daughter relationships, grief, and forgiveness. The story follows a young mother named Morgan Grant, played by Allison Williams, and her teen daughter, Clara, and how they deal with the grief placed on them after a tragic accident kills Clara’s father and sister. While the plot was predictable and dialogue was basic, the characters were relatable and well developed. Overall, ‘’Regretting You” is a powerful film about love and the enduring bonds within families, even through tough times.
