Album Review

3 Stars

Wallen’s fifth studio album is a one-hour, fifty-seven-minute breakup track with thoughtful songwriting. Wallen details his heartbreaks and how he moved on, as well as reflecting on his life and career as he enters a new stage of life, being a father. The ups and downs of life are highlighted throughout the album through the differing tempos and sounds that Wallen uses.

Per usual, Wallen writes his songs with the intent of his fans being able to relate to his music. His album is enhanced with features including Tate McRae, HARDY, and Post Malone. While the album is full of good songs, it does contain thirty-seven tracks, making it difficult to keep an attention span while listening; it would be much more enjoyable if the content were shorter, or even split into two separate albums.
