Students organize peaceful protest in Mason
Current and former Mason High School student organizers Leah Herbert, Mariah Norman, Janae Hayes, Lexi Fedders, Sydney Womack, Ayesha Chaudry, and Courtney Banner-Lynch organized a peaceful protest march on Saturday, June 13 in Mason. The march in protest of racism and the death of George Floyd attracted several thousand protestors. The marchers route began at Christ’s Church on Montgomery Road and culminated on the steps of the Mason Municipal Center.
