Mason boys volleyball fall to St. Xavier, sit at .500
The Mason Boys Volleyball Team has opened the season with a 3-3 record. The Comets have recorded wins over West Clermont (25-16, 25-10), Lakota West (25-6, 25-18, 25-17), and Milford (25-20, 25-14, 25-15). The Comets’ three losses have been at the hands of Greater Catholic League opponents St. Xavier, Badin, and Chaminade Julienne. Statistically, Damien Sauer leads the Comets in attacks and digs. Evan Beyke and Grant Stradley are the team’s top two servers. Mitch Butler is the team leader in assists. In the blocks category, Nickola Bommarito, Spencer Knight, and Alex Mulvin lead the way. The top passer for the Comets is Grant Stradley.
